3 MORE PARTIES CHALLENGE BUHARI'S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION VICTORY

3 more parties challenge Buhari’s presidential election victory Three more political parties have filed petitions against President Buhari's victory at the February 23 presidential election - The main opposition PDP had also filed its petition before the presidential election tribunal, making the number rise to four - The parties that have filed petitions challenging the outcome of the 2019 presidential election are PDP, HDP, C4C and PDM Three more political parties have reportedly filed their petitions before the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja, making the number of political parties challenging the outcome of the last presidential election rise to four. The lead opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the election, Atiku Abubakar, filed their petition on March 18. According to McCozar Blogspot, another petition against the presidential election is the one filed by Hope Democratic Party (HDP) and Ambrose Owuru, who claimed to be the party’s presidential candidate. The petition, marked CA/PEPC/001/2019 was filed on March 7, before that of the PDP and Atiku which was marked: CA/PEPC/002/2019. The third, marked CA/PEPC/003/2019 was filed by the Coalition for Change (C4C) and Geff Ojinika, who claimed to be the party’s presidential candidate. The fourth petition, marked CA/PEPC/004/2019, was filed on March 19 the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pastor Aminchi Habu, listed as the party’s presidential candidate. McCozar Blogspot previously reported that at a pre-hearing session conducted on Wednesday, March 27, the tribunal granted the PDP and Atiku permission to serve their petition to President Buhari through his party, APC. PDP and Atiku, who, by their petition, are challenging Buhari’s victory at the election, applied for leave to effect service of the petition on the President on the grounds that they were having difficulty serving him. The three-man tribunal, after listening to Chris Uche (SAN), who moved the ex-parte filed by the PDP and Atiku, granted them permission to serve through substituted means. Justice Abdul Aboki, who led the panel, ordered that Buhari, who is listed as the second respondent to the petition, be served through any senior official or an officer of the APC at the party’s secretariat in Abuja. McCozar Report.

THE KIDNAP BY OGUNDAUNSI AYODEJI JEFFERY

pub-8819931934357392 THE KIDNAP He was profusely shaking, he had to wee on his trouser like a kid. He could not bear the thought of dying at a tender age (barely a week after his 22nd birthday). Just as he was led through the bush paths, a lot of thoughts flashed across his mind. Death seems imminent- death was lingering! His parents and co-travelers thought he had escaped into the nearby bush as everyone tried to scamper for safety. They were all lying down, with their faces to the ground when they (abductors) took him away; he couldn’t drop a farewell message. When he had arrived the first destination in the company of his abductors, he was thinking of what would have become of his parents; his mother especially. At that time, he had no thought of his own. The night falls, his abductors were yet to speak a word, he became tensed, he would like to escape but there seems no way. Just as he was deep in thoughts, he heard a voice: “aboki, stand up”. It was at this point that...
