The Nigerian Women's national team defeated their Romanian counterpart 4-1 in China invitational tournament - Falcons quartet of Chiwendu Ihezuo, Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu and Ini Umotong scored during the match - The win over Romania saw Nigeria finish 3rd at the 4-nation invitational tournament Nigeria’s Super Falcons defeated their Romania counterpart 4-1 to claim their first win of 2019 on Sunday, January 20, in the China invitational tournament. The performance saw the Falcons to finish third after suffering a 3-0 bashing from hosts China in their opening game of the tourney.
